The SMS Token Service will be active to the mobile phone you have provided to Attica Bank. during your account registration.
If you have not informed the bank with your mobile phone number please , visit one of our branches, bringing a mobile phone bill in order to verify it.
In order to register and activate SMS Token service, you may follow one of the respective ways:
- Login at Attica e-banking and follow the steps of these instructions.
- Visit an Attica Bank branch.
Procedure via Attica e-banking
Under the «Self Management» menu, select «Register for SMS OTP» in order the register for the service.
If you have not registered at SMS Token Service, the screen below is shown with your mobile phone number and the button "Submit":
Before you click "Submit" please ensure that the mobile phone number that is showing on the screen is the same with your current mobile phone number.
In case that the mobile phone number that is showing on the screen below, is the same with your current mobile phone number you may click on «Submit»
Next you type the 8-digit one time password that will be produced from your token device (hardware token) on the confirmation screen. Select «Confirm»
If you are allready registered, the message below will show and you will have to proceed at Step 3 «Activation of SMS Token Service».
Cases of non successful registration:The proccess of registration cannot be completed if you have not verified your mobile phone number.
- In case you have never informed the Bank with your mobile phone number the message "You can not Register at the SMS Token Service" will appear.
- In the case that you have changed your mobile phone number and you have not informed the Bank then on the screen below you will see your old phone number.
Under the menu Self Management choose Activate/Verify SMS OTP
If the service is activated, you will see the screen below showing your mobile phone number and the button "Submit":
Before you choose "Submit" please ensure that the mobile phone number that is showing is the same with your current mobile phone number.
If you have changed your mobile phone number (to wit the number that is showing on the screen below is different from your current mobile phone number) the proccess of activating SMS Token Service cannot be completed before you verify the number of your mobile phone.
In case the number that is showing (on the screen above ) is valid, choose «Submit» and then «Send Token via SMS to your mobile»
By choosing "Send Token via SMS to your mobile" we send you an SMS Token at your mobile phone number. which you have to type at the input "OTP"
Choose «Confirm» in order to complete the activation proccess.
Note: The SMS Message that will be send to your mobile phone will appear "AtticaBank" as sender.
If SMS Token Service has allready been activated, then you will see the relative message on the screen «You have allready activated SMS Token Service».
Note: In order to verify that your registration and activation in SMS Token Service has been completed with your current mobile phone number and not with an older one (if you have changed your mobile phone number), please click on the menu Alerts and select Alerts Delivery Settings, in order to confirm that the Bank has been informed for your current mobile phone number.
In case you have skipped Step 2 of the procedure «Registration at SMS Token Service» , you will be informed with the relative message that you must first register for the Service
